The product under consideration, described as a Flange Bracket (also known as an Intermediate Flange), serves to mount a pulley to the exterior of a 6-cylinder diesel truck engine. The pulley rotates a serpentine belt that assists in cooling the engine. The flange bracket is made of cast iron, measures 10 inches long by 4 inches wide, and weighs approximately 10 lbs. In its imported condition, it is an unfinished casting that must be machined before use. The applicable subheading for the cast iron flange bracket will be 8302.30.3060, Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS), which provides for base metal mountings, fittings and similar articles suitable for furniture, doors, staircases, windows, blinds, coachwork, saddlery, trunks, chests, caskets or the like;...and base metal parts thereof: other mountings, fittings and similar articles suitable for motor vehicles; and parts thereof: of iron or steel, of aluminum or of zinc.
