Pasireotide Diaspartate is indicated for the treatment of adult patients with Cushing’s disease for whom pituitary surgery is not an option or has not been curative. It is also indicated for the treatment of patients with acromegaly. The applicable subheading for the Pasireotide Diaspartate in bulk form will be 2933.79.0800, Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS), which provides for “Heterocyclic compounds with nitrogen hetero-atom(s) only: Lactams: Other lactams: Other: Products described in additional U.S. note 3 to section VI.” Pursuant to General Note 13, HTSUS, the rate of duty will be free. Duty rates are provided for your convenience and are subject to change.
