Edoxaban Tosilate Hydrate is an anticoagulant that will be imported in bulk powder form. It is indicated to reduce the risk of stroke and systematic embolism in patients with non-valvular atrial fibrillation. You also requested a classification ruling for Valsartan/Sacubitril. The classification for this item will be addressed in a separate ruling letter. The applicable subheading for Edoxaban Tosilate Hydrate in bulk form will be 2934. 99.3000, Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS), which provides for “Nucleic acids and their salts, whether or not chemically defined; other heterocyclic compounds: Other: Other: Aromatic or modified aromatic: Other: Drugs.” Pursuant to General Note 13, HTSUS, the rate of duty will be free.
