The product you plan to import is described as Nickel Aluminum powder, Metco 2501. The chemical composition of the powder is 86% Nickel and 14% Aluminum. The particle size is consistent with the definition of powder in Note 8(b) of Section XV of the Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS). The material is described as simply a powder that is blended by your company in Canada and sold to customers who sinter the powder after importation into honeycomb filler. The applicable subheading for the Nickel Aluminum powder will be 7504.00.0010, (HTSUS), which provides for Nickel powders and flakes, powders. The rate of duty will be free. Duty rates are provided for your convenience and are subject to change.
