Product description
A sample of the fabric accompanied your request. Pattern Lancome with Knit Backing is a bonded upholstery fabric consisting of a woven face fabric laminated to a knit backing fabric, and is characterized by a marled “hand woven” appearance. The corrected specifications sheets indicate that the face fabric is composed of 52% polyester, 40% viscose rayon and 8% acrylic yarns of different colors and weighs 480 g/m2. Although the specifications sheet did not indicate the presence of chenille yarns, visual examination of the sample revealed the presence of chenille yarns, visible on two sides of the fabric. The knitted polyester backing fabric weighs 40 g/m2. Based on the relative weights, use, quantity and design of the face and backing fabrics, we have determined that it is the face fabric which imparts this product with its essential character. Your letter indicates that the fabric will be imported on rolls, in widths of 140 centimeters, and will be used for upholstery.
