Product description

The submitted sample is identified as a Snap-up Shelf, Sku# 40579. This item is a shelf that is made of acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS) plastic material. It has three sides and there are grip pads which are made of ABS and thermoplastic elastomer that are mounted on the two shorter sides. These two sides meet at a rounded point at one end. You have stated dimensions for the item of 3” x 10.75” x 10.75” but the measurements taken by this office reflect the fact that the two shorter sides measure approximately 9” in length each and are joined at the end that is opposite the point by a third rounded side that measures approximately 14” in length. The shelf is designed to be mounted in damp rooms or showers by pressing the point where the two shorter sides meet into a corner, which would bring the grip pads in contact with the two meeting walls of the corner. The material of the grip pads will adhere to the walls by the use of pressure but the shelf can also easily be removed as no hardware is used to mount the shelf. There is a plastic pressure handle in the middle of the bottom surface of the item that when pressed up and locked into place, creates greater pressure on the grip pads to facilitate pressure mounting. There are small apertures throughout the shelf that are designed to act as drainage slots to limit standing water and prevent bacteria, mold or mildew. Also included are two small adjustable hooks that can be attached to the shelf for the hanging of loofahs, washcloths and razors. As you requested, the sample will be returned to you.
