You submitted a photograph of an item you called an outdoor blanket. The blanket is constructed from a nylon shell which you state is water-resistant, and filled with polyester batting. When the blanket is not in use; it is designed to be folded and stored in an integrated pocket that can be zipped closed. While you refer to the item as a blanket, it is deemed more than just an ordinary blanket. It is designed to provide protection from the rain and can be used as a type of ground cover. It is marketed as an outdoor blanket for the enjoyment of the outdoors, either by attending sporting events, picnics or for use on the lawn to relax. The applicable subheading for the outdoor blanket will be 6307.90.9889, Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States, (HTSUS), which provides for other made up textile articles, other. The rate of duty will be 7% ad valorem. Duty rates are provided for your convenience and are subject to change.
