The item under consideration has been identified as a Housing-Clutch (Item Code 4311502503). In your request, you state that the Housing-Clutch is used to protect and support the clutch in the transmission of a motor vehicle. The Housing-Clutch is constructed of aluminum. The applicable subheading for the Housing-Clutch (Item Code 4311502503) will be 8708.93.7500, Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS), which provides for “Parts and accessories of motor vehicles of heading 8701 to 8705: Other parts and accessories: Clutches and parts thereof: For other vehicles: Other.” The general rate of duty will be 2.5%. Duty rates are provided for your convenience and are subject to change.
