It is the opinion of this office that this merchandise is to be solely used with cable set-top boxes.

The merchandise under consideration is plastic faceplates for cable set-top boxes, which are referred to as “bezels.” The subject bezels are the faceplates that attach to the front of various models of television reception set-top boxes, which are used to receive a television broadcast signal. These bezels, which are parts of non-screened television reception apparatus, are sold to cable companies and cable service-related companies to replace the original bezels that have become worn out or damaged. It is the opinion of this office that this merchandise is to be solely used with cable set-top boxes. The rate of duty will be 2.9 percent ad valorem. Duty rates are provided for your convenience and are subject to change.
