However, this merchandise is more specifically provided for elsewhere in the tariff. Therefore, classification under subheading 8525.80.5050, HTSUS is not applicable.

The merchandise under consideration are lightweight industrial videoscopes used for optical measurement purposes. These videoscopes are identified as the IPLEX YS. They feature bright images through a high resolution LCD monitor and include recording functions. The IPLEX YS has an extra-long 30 m videoscope which is equipped with an innovative laser illumination and scope articulation technology. The rate of duty will be 3.5 percent ad valorem. Duty rates are provided for your convenience and are subject to change.
