Dear Mr. Maher: In your letter dated February 18, 2015, you requested a tariff classification ruling, on behalf of your client, Saramax Apparel Group. The sample submitted, style SAS460, is a set of two women’s underwear camisoles, constructed from 87% nylon, 13% spandex lace-like knit fabric. The undergarments feature scooped front necklines, elasticized shoulder straps, elasticized arm and neck openings, and hemmed bottoms. The applicable subheading for both camisoles will be 6109.90.1065, HTSUS, which provides for T-shirts, singlets, tank tops and similar garments, knitted or crocheted: of other textile materials: women’s or girls’: tank tops and singlets: women’s. The rate of duty will be 32% ad valorem. Duty rates are provided for your convenience and are subject to change.
