The Ortho Vision Blood Analyzer is designed to automate in vitro immunohematology testing of human blood. To perform this testing, the model utilizes such functions as liquid pipetting, cassette and liquid reagent handling, incubation, centrifugation, reaction grading and interpretation and data management requirement using digital image processing. Chemical analysis of the blood samples is performed through the creation and analysis of digital images made by projecting light through blood samples and dispensed reagents. From the analysis, the unit determines the blood type and the presence of any other desired or undesired characteristics.

The Ortho Vision Blood Analyzer is designed to automate in vitro immunohematology testing of human blood.
