The subject product, Pimecrolimus, is an immunomodulating agent. It is indicated as a second-line therapy for the short-term and non-continuous treatment of mild to moderate atopic dermatitis in non-immunocompromised adults and children two years of age or older. The applicable subheading for the Pimecrolimus in bulk form will be 2934.99.4700, Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS), which provides for “Nucleic acids and their salts, whether or not chemically defined: other heterocyclic compounds, Other: Other: Other: Drugs.” Pursuant to GN 13, HTSUS, the rate of duty will be free. Duty rates are provided for your convenience and are subject to change.
