Dear Ms. Guanio: In your letter dated June 9, 2014, you requested a tariff classification ruling. Style BXS101 is a man’s $100 bill themed underwear boxer short constructed from 100% cotton knit fabric. The garment features an exposed elastic waistband, a one button fly front and hemmed leg bottoms. The applicable subheading for this style will be 6107.11.0010, Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS), which provides for Men’s or boys’ underpants, briefs, nightshirts, pajamas, bathrobes, dressing gowns and similar articles, knitted or crocheted: underpants and briefs: of cotton: men’s. The duty rate will be 7.4 percent ad valorem. Duty rates are provided for your convenience and are subject to change.
