With your request letter you submitted five samples which were identified as styles 1 through 5. This merchandise is said to comprise your item number 702235-2014, an assortment of Christmas ribbons. Your samples are being returned at your request, less those portions destroyed in testing or retained for file purposes. You state that all of the ribbons below are imported in rolls and measure 3 yards in length and 0.375 inches (10 cm) in width. Your letter describes Style 01 as a narrow woven ribbon composed of 100% polyester man-made fiber, which has been made on a ribbon making machine with woven selvedges and is not coated with a plastic or rubber material. The ribbon has no inserted wires or metallized yarns. The ribbon has been printed with a decorative poinsettia motif. Your letter describes Style 02 as a narrow woven ribbon composed of 70% metallized strip / 30% nylon monofilament, which has been made on a ribbon making machine with woven selvedges and is not coated with a plastic or rubber material. The ribbon has no inserted wires. The ribbon has a shiny effect produced by the metallized yarns and glitter. Your letter describes Style 03 as a narrow woven ribbon composed of 100% polyester man-made fiber, which has been made on a ribbon making machine with woven selvedges and is not coated with a plastic or rubber material. The ribbon has no inserted wires or metallized yarns. The ribbon has been printed with a decorative poinsettia motif. Your letter describes Style 04 as a narrow woven ribbon composed of 70% metallized strip / 30% nylon monofilament, which has been made on a ribbon making machine with woven selvedges and is not coated with a plastic or rubber material. The strips meet the dimensional requirements of textile strips contained in Section XI, Legal Note 1(g) of the Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS).
