You have indicated that the product at issue is intended to be used as a PH modifying agent for the production of a variety of products. The applicable subheading for sodium bisulfate (CAS# 7681-38) will be 2833.19.0000, Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS), which provides for Sulfates; alums; peroxosulfates (persulfates): Sodium sulfates: Other. The general rate of duty will be free. This merchandise may be subject to the requirements of the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA), which are administered by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
