Box 39005 Denver, CO 80239 RE: The tariff classification of a dietary supplement from Hungary Dear Mr. Ferry: In your letter dated June 18, 2013 you requested a tariff classification ruling on behalf of Apax OTC Business Development LLC, Centennial, CO. Descriptive literature including a list of ingredients accompanied your letter. Lineatabs® is an effervescent beverage tablet, said to offer a patented solution which may help reduce the amount of dietary fat that is absorbed by the body. The stated ingredients are citric acid, sodium hydrogen carbonate, Solusitan® poly-D-glucosamine complex, sorbitol, polyethylene glycol, natural lemon and lime flavors, stevia extract (97% RebA), inulin, and riboflavin-5-phosphate. Instructions suggest dropping a Lineatab in a glass of cold water and drinking it with every fatty meal. The rate of duty will be 6.4 percent ad valorem. Duty rates are provided for your convenience and are subject to change.
