The subject product, Gabapentin, is a medicinal preparation in tablet form containing the active ingredient, Gabapentin. The product will be imported in dosage form in 600 mg and 800 mg tablets. It is indicated for the treatment of epilepsy and neuropathic pains. The applicable subheading for the Gabapentin Tablets in dosage form will be 3004.90.9130, Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS), which provides for "Medicaments (excluding goods of heading 3002, 3005 or 3006) consisting of mixed or unmixed products for therapeutic or prophylactic uses, put up in measured doses (including those in the form of transdermal administration systems) or in forms or packings for retail sale: Other: Other: Other: Medicaments primarily affecting the central nervous system: Anticonvulsants, hypnotics and sedatives."
