Bergasurf 1698 ME, CAS 112-39-0, also known as Hexadecanoic acid, methyl ester, is a methyl ester of palmitic acid. The applicable subheading for Bergasurf 1698 ME will be 2915.70.0150, Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS), which provides for Saturated acyclic monocarboxylic acids and their anhydrides, halides, peroxides and peroxyacids; their halogenated, sulfonated, nitrated or nitrosated derivatives: Palmitic acid, stearic acid, their salts and esters: Other.
