Dear Ms. Kobs: In your letter dated April 4, 2012, you requested a tariff classification ruling. The sample submitted will be returned. Style CW32511A is two pairs of gloves which you state will be packaged and retailed together. The gloves are constructed of 95% acrylic, 4% other fiber and 1% spandex knit jersey fabric. The cuff is constructed of 78% acrylic, 14% polyester, 4% rubber, 3% other fiber and 1% spandex knit jersey fabric. The applicable subheading for Style CW32511A will be 6116.93.8800, Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS), which provides for Gloves, mittens and mitts, knitted or crocheted: Other: of synthetic fibers: Other: Other: Without fourchettes. The rate of duty rate will be 18.6% ad valorem. Duty rates are provided for your convenience and are subject to change. The text of the most recent HTSUS and the accompanying duty rates are provided on World Wide Web at http://www.usitc.gov/tata/hts/.
