Dear Ms. Lin: In your letter dated January 26, 2012, you requested a tariff classification ruling. The sample will be retained by this office for reference. The submitted sample, identified as style number 2011HM1103, is a leotard with an attached tutu/skirt. The garment is constructed of 100% polyester knit fabric. The costume has a multi-layered skirt with a gathered, well-made waist, sturdy seams, finished edges and a capped neckline. The skirt features fiber optic strands that light up, which are wired to a battery pack contained in an interior pocket.
