The submitted samples are referred to as Item # 40167 - Set/2 Double Sided Microfiber Cleaning Cloths. The cloths are comprised from two layers of fabrics sewn together along their edges. One fabric is a 80 percent polyester and 20 percent polyamide knit pile while the other is 70 percent polypropylene and 20 percent polyamide knit mesh. One cloth measures 15.75 x 12 inches and the other 11.5 x 9.5 inches. The applicable subheading for the cloths will be 6307.10.2030, Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS), which provides for other made up articles, including dress patterns: floorcloths, dishcloths, dusters and similar cleaning cloths: other… other. The duty rate will be 5.3 percent ad valorem. Duty rates are provided for your convenience and are subject to change. This ruling is being issued under the provisions of Part 177 of the Customs Regulations (19 C.F.R. 177).
