Dear Ms. Pendris: In your letter dated June 16, 2011, you requested a tariff classification ruling. A sample was provided with your letter. The “Vehicle Drink Holders” (Item #69830) are composed of molded polypropylene plastic. They are packaged two to a retail bag and will be sold to individual consumers via the mail catalog industry. The drink holders are designed to hold boxes, cans or bottles with a 2 ¼ inch bottom. The protruding hook of the drink holder allows the holder to be secured in a vehicle, but also in various other places, such as a baby carriage or cart. As you requested, the sample will be returned.
