Product description
The inspection systems may be imported separately in some instances. The SE500 is a high speed, 3-D solder paste inspection system using an integrated sensor assembly to provide height, volume and area measurements of solder paste on printed circuit boards. The SE-500 contains one xenon strobe light and two glass lenses. The QX500 is an automatic high speed optical inspection system. The QX500 functions by using a strobed inspection module (SIM) containing six 5.0 megapixel color CMOS (complementary metal oxide semiconductor) cameras to inspect for the precisely accurate location of components placed on printed circuit boards. The QX500 contains two xenon flash tubes and each of the CMOS cameras in the QX500 incorporates a glass lens.

The applicable subheading for the SE500 and QX500 inspection systems will be 9031.49.9000, Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS), which provides for measuring or checking instruments, appliances and machines: other optical instruments and appliances: other: other. The rate of duty will be 3.5 percent ad valorem. This classification and rate of duty applies to the SE500 and the QX500 whether the inspection systems are imported together or in separate shipments. Duty rates are provided for your convenience and are subject to change. The text of the most recent HTSUS and the accompanying duty rates are provided on World Wide Web at http://www.usitc.gov/tata/hts/.
