A sample of the subject mug was submitted for our review and will be retained by this office. The sample which you submitted is identified in your letter as a thermal non-vacuum mug (Item #5058159). The mug is made principally of stainless steel and contains a plastic exterior. The name “Cuisinart®” appears on the plastic exterior of the mug. The screw-on lid is made of plastic and is trimmed with stainless steel. The applicable subheading for the stainless steel mug (Item #5058159) will be 7323.93.0080, Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS), which provides for table, kitchen or other household articles and parts thereof, of iron or steel, other, of stainless steel, other. The rate of duty will be 2 percent ad valorem. Duty rates are provided for your convenience and are subject to change.
