The subject product, Troxerutin, is a derivative of the natural bioflavonoid rutin extracted from Sophora japonica. It is indicated for the treatment of varicose veins and hemorrhoids. The applicable subheading for the Troxerutin in bulk form will be 2938.10.0000, Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS), which provides for “Glycosides, natural or reproduced by synthesis, and their salts, ethers, esters and other derivatives: Rutoside (Rutin) and its derivatives.” Pursuant to GN 13, HTSUS, the rate of duty will be free. Duty rates are provided for your convenience and are subject to change.
