Product description
The ruling was requested on uncooked, frozen crabs (Callinectes sapidus) that have been gutted and de-backed (carapace removed). The legs and claws are intact (unaltered). Three to six of the whole gutted/de-backed crabs will be packed in a Styrofoam tray and overwrapped with plastic. The crabs will be imported in frozen condition in master cartons, each containing 30 trays.

Dear Ms. Entwistle: In your letter dated January 26, 2011, you requested a tariff classification ruling. The ruling was requested on uncooked, frozen crabs (Callinectes sapidus) that have been gutted and de-backed (carapace removed). The legs and claws are intact (unaltered). Three to six of the whole gutted/de-backed crabs will be packed in a Styrofoam tray and overwrapped with plastic. The crabs will be imported in frozen condition in master cartons, each containing 30 trays.
