Descriptive literature and a picture were included with your submission. The items under consideration are identified as Full Speed Ahead (FSA) ceramic ball bearing sets. You indicate that these bearing sets are designed for use on bicycles with bottom bracket spindles up to 30 mm in diameter. A set includes two bearings each weighing 20 g. The bearings consist of a series of ceramic balls that are placed between an inner and outer race made of stainless steel. The applicable subheading for the ceramic ball bearing sets will be 6909.19.5010, Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS), which provides for ceramic bearings. The rate of duty will be 4 percent ad valorem. Duty rates are provided for your convenience and are subject to change. The text of the most recent HTSUS and the accompanying duty rates are provided on World Wide Web at http://www.usitc.gov/tata/hts/. This ruling is being issued under the provisions of Part 177 of the Customs Regulations (19 C.F.R. 177).
