The subject product, Fingolimod Hydrochloride, is a sphingosine-1-phosphate receptor modulator. It is indicated to reduce relapses and delay disability progression in patients with relapsing forms of Multiple Sclerosis (MS) and is the first oral agent for patients with MS. The applicable subheading for the Fingolimod Hydrochloride in bulk form will be 2922.19.0900 Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS), which provides for “Oxygen-function amino-compounds (con.): Amino-alcohols, other than those containing more than one kind of oxygen function, their ethers and esters; salts thereof (con.): Other: Aromatic: Drugs.” Pursuant to General Note 13, HTSUS, the rate of duty will be free. Duty rates are provided for your convenience and are subject to change.
