Dear Mr. Awana: In your letter dated August 26, 2010, you requested a tariff classification ruling on behalf of your client, Pan Asian Creations (BVD) LT. You submitted a sample of a 5 Color LED EVA Egg Decoration identified as item number 1542-06244. The article consists of a pink ethylene vinyl acetate faux egg that measures approximately 5” in height x 3-1/2” in diameter. Housed within the egg are electrical components that when activated, by turning on a switch located on the bottom of the egg, illuminates the egg in five alternating colors, but does not illuminate the surrounding area.
