It consists of one international converter, Item # ST-E1004, and four international adapter plugs, Item #s ST-E1003-E-UG, ST-E1003-UG, ST-E1003-NA-UG, and ST-E1003-A-UG, and a storage bag. The various adapter plugs are for use in different countries, such as Europe, Great Britain, North/South America, and Australia. In addition to importing the international converter/adapter kit, you have stated that you will also be importing the international converters (Item # ST-E1004) and the international adapter plugs (Item #s ST-E1003-E-UG, ST-E1003-UG, ST-E1003-NA-UG, and ST-E1003-A-UG) individually packaged for retail sale.

The merchandise subject to this ruling is an international converter/adapter kit. It is designed for use in international travel to match the alternating current voltage of multiple countries. The international converter converts 220 volts to 110 volts. The adapter plugs provide the user with the ability to plug electrical devices into the electrical outlets in the various countries. The applicable subheading for the individual international adapter plugs (Item #s ST-E1003-E-UG, ST-E1003-UG, ST-E1003-NA-UG, and ST-E1003-A-UG) will be 8536.69.8000, Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the Unite States (HTSUS), which provides for “Electrical apparatus…for making connections to or in electrical circuits…Lamp-holders, plugs, and sockets: Other: Other.” The rate of duty will be 2.7 percent ad valorem. Duty rates are provided for your convenience and are subject to change.
