Dear Ms. Chan: In your undated letter received by this office on July 20, 2010, 0n behalf of TSPS Industries Inc., dba Tagg Industries; you requested a tariff classification ruling. The sample will be returned to you. The submitted sample is a red colored band stating “Drug Use is Life Abuse.” The item is made of warp knit fabric and is sewn together to form a bracelet in its imported condition. The band is used by the Local Sheriff’s Department to prompt an anti-drug program. The applicable subheading for the textile bracelet “Drug Use is Life Abuse,” will be 6117.80.9540, Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS), which provides for "Other made up clothing accessories, knitted or crocheted; knitted or crocheted parts of garments or of clothing accessories: Other accessories: Other: Other, Of man-made fibers: Other."
