The sample submitted with your request is a nylon plastic jag used for cleaning the barrel of a rifle. The jag measures approximately 2 inches in length and 1/3 inch in diameter. The front end has a point for attaching a cleaning patch. The back end is threaded so that it can screw onto a rifle cleaning rod. The rods and patches are not imported with the jag. The applicable subheading for the plastic jag will be 3926.90.9980, Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS), which provides for other articles of plastics, other. The rate of duty will be 5.3 percent ad valorem. Duty rates are provided for your convenience and are subject to change.
