Product description
The “Pucker-Up” is a device for picking up hockey pucks from the ground. It consists of a rigid cylindrical canister made of molded plastics, measuring 3 ½ inches in diameter and 25 inches in length. A removable molded plastic handle with a collar base is secured to the top with a bolt-like fastener that is inserted through holes in the collar that correspond to holes at either side of the canister. The bolt is attached to the handle by means of a metal chain to prevent loss. A flanged collar at the bottom of the canister is designed to fit over a hockey puck. The inside bottom of the flange is made of a soft elastomeric material and is slit at intervals around the circumference. The user will place the flanged bottom over the hockey puck and press down on the device by means of the top handle. This pressure forces the puck through the flexible slit border and up into the canister. The user repeats this action and the pucks self-feed until the canister is full. The device holds up to 26 hockey pucks. To remove the pucks, the user removes the top handle by pulling out the bolt, turns the canister upside down and dumps out the pucks. The device is not used during the actual play of the game.
