Dear Ms. Smith: In your letter dated July 30, 2009, you requested a tariff classification ruling. The merchandise under consideration is identified as item number 26541, the Flush Mount Duplex Wall Jack. From the information you provided, the Flush Mount Duplex Wall Jack is a plastic duplex flush-mount wall jack and faceplate combination with two integrated RJ-series sockets. This item provides a connection for 2 telecommunications devices, such as telephones, answering machines, modems, faxes, and/or caller ID into a single wall jack.
