Product description
The first item concerned is fiber optic cable, part # GCFAZLLL01-M. This cable is referred to as a duplex cable. This cable appears to be two separately jacketed fiber optic cables joined together down the length of the cable with a thin web of PVC. Each cable consists of one individually sheathed, glass optical fiber. That sheathed fiber is surrounded by aramid yarn fibers which run the entire length of the cable. The sheathed optical fiber and aramid yarn are then encased in an outer jacket. There are optical connectors on each of the cable. The second item concerned is fiber optic cable, part # GCFA1CCS01-M. This cable is referred to as a simplex cable. It consists of one individually sheathed, glass optical fiber. That sheathed fiber is surrounded by aramid yarn fibers which run the entire length of the cable. The sheathed optical fiber and aramid yarn are then encased in an outer jacket. There are optical connectors on each end of the cable.
