The ruling was requested on a guitar display case, item # 54123 001. A photograph of the product was submitted. The product is a wall hanging cabinet designed to hang and display one electric guitar. The cabinet is made of plywood and has a hinged glass front door panel. The interior of the cabinet is lined with Tolex, a flexible vinyl material. The cabinet has a locking mechanism and magnetic closures. The applicable subheading for the guitar display case, item # 54123 001, will be 4420.90.8000, Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS), which provides for wooden articles of furniture not falling within chapter 94. The rate of duty will be 3.2 percent ad valorem. Duty rates are provided for your convenience and are subject to change.
