Dear Mr. Lara: In your letter dated April 7, 2009, you requested a tariff classification ruling. As requested, your sample will be returned. Item MH9ST31005 is a men’s jacket constructed from both knit and woven fabrics. The garment has a rib knit stand-up collar; a full front opening with a zipper closure; long, raglan sleeves with rib knit cuffs; two patch pockets with flaps and snap closures on the chest; side entry pockets below the waist; an embroidered logo on the left sleeve; and a rib knit bottom. The rate of duty is 15.9% ad valorem. Duty rates are provided for your convenience and are subject to change.
