The three submitted samples are identified as bed sheet straps. You state that they are used to fasten the four corners of a fitted sheet around a mattress so that the sheet will not move. Sample #1 (Item# 70101) is an elastic knit textile fabric band with plastic hooks and snaps on each end. It measures approximately 10” x 1”. Sample #2 (Item# 70182TAR) is an elastic knit textile fabric band with plastic snap buttons and hooks made of chrome-plated iron. It measures approximately 10½” x 1”. Sample #3 (no Item# indicated) is an elastic knit fabric band with chrome-plated iron clips on each end and an adjusting buckle. It measures approximately 5½” x ½”. Each will be sold as a set of four. The applicable subheading for the bed sheet straps will be 6307.90.9889, Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS), which provides for other made up textile articles, other. The rate of duty will be 7% ad valorem. Duty rates are provided for your convenience and are subject to change. This ruling is being issued under the provisions of Part 177 of the Customs Regulations (19 C.F.R. 177).
