Dear Mr. Rizner: In your letter dated February 13, 2009, you requested a tariff classification ruling. The submitted sample, Style #4710, is a woman’s pullover-style shirt, constructed from 90% polyester, and 10% spandex knit fabric. The garment features a stand-up collar, a partial front opening with a zipper closure, long hemmed sleeves, and a hemmed bottom. The garment also has inserts on both sides of the front panel, a stick-on logo at the left chest area, and piping down both sides. The fabric of the inserts and piping are constructed from 90% polyester and 10% spandex knit fabric.
