Dear Ms. Dorfman: In your letter dated February 11, 2009, on behalf of Fibre Craft Materials Corp., you requested a tariff classification ruling. The samples which you submitted are being returned as requested. The sample submitted is a Jingle Bell Necklace Kit consisting of a knit man-made fiber fabric necklace and a bell with several items that when attached will resemble the face of a reindeer. The applicable subheading for the Jingle Bell Necklace will be 6217.10.9530, Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS), which provides for "Other made up clothing accessories; parts of garments…Accessories: Other: Other: Of man-made fibers." The duty rate will be 14.6 percent ad valorem. Duty rates are provided for your convenience and are subject to change.
