The submitted sample is a portion of a sack woven of polypropylene strips. The strips meet the dimensional requirements of man-made fiber textile strips contained in Section XI, Legal Note 1(g) of the Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS). You indicate that the bag weighs 90 grams and is printed in three colors. Its intended use is for the packaging of food products. The applicable subheading for the woven polypropylene sack will be 6305.33.0050, Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS), which provides for sacks and bags of a kind used for the packing of goods: Of man-made textile materials: Other, of polyethylene strip or the like: Other: Weighing less than 1 kg, with an outer laminated ply of plastic sheeting. The rate of duty will be 8.4% ad valorem. The merchandise in question may be subject to antidumping duties or countervailing duties.
