The neckband, placket, bottom band and cuffs are made of a 1 x 1 rib knitted fabric. The garment reaches to below the waist. In order to classify your sweater we have submitted it to the U.S. Customs and Border Protection Laboratory for an analysis of its fiber content and yarn structure. The laboratory has reported that the fabric is composed of a 3-ply metallic yarn which consists of a single ply of acrylic/wool staple yarn (97.1% by weight of the entire fabric) which has been twisted together with a 2-ply yarn containing 1-ply of filament polyester and 1-ply of mylar type metallic (2.9% by weight of the entire fabric). The acrylic/wool staple yarn has the following composition by weight: 90.6%. staple acrylic 9.4% staple wool. The metallic yarn has the following composition by weight: 65.3% filament polyester, 34.7% mylar type metalized yarn.
