Product description

The first product, Brinzolamide, is in a class of drugs called carbonic anhydrase inhibitors. It decreases the pressure in the eye. It is indicated in the treatment of elevated intraocular pressure in patients with ocular hypertension or open-angle glaucoma. The second product, Bimatoprost, is a synthetic prostamide, structurally related to prostaglandin F2α (PGF2α). Pursuant to General Note 13, HTSUS, the rate of duty will be free. The applicable subheading for the Bimatoprost will be 2937.50.0000, HTSUS, which provides for "Hormones, prostaglandins, thromboxanes and leukotrienes, natural or reproduced by synthesis; derivatives and structural analogues thereof, including chain modified polypeptides, used primarily as hormones: Prostaglandins, thromboxanes and leukotrienes, their derivatives and structural analogues."
