Dear Ms. Kent: In your letter dated June 4, 2008, you requested a tariff classification ruling. You seek classification advice for a material identified as product code 211149. Several representative samples were submitted. These samples consist of individual pieces cut to shape and size with rounded edges. These pieces are composed of Tyvek ® material. That is, they are made of a spunbonded nonwoven material (filament), which in this case, contains an adhesive coating applied to one side.
