Dear Mr. Crago: In your letter dated May 21, 2008 you requested a tariff classification ruling. Item number A050AA01539 is described as a barbecue branding iron. The submitted literature states that it is used for branding barbecue such as steaks, fillets, etc. The branding iron is made of aluminum with a wooden handle and leather strap. It measures 17” long and includes 52 aluminum letter tiles and 8 blank aluminum space tiles.
