The subject product, Nebivolol HCL, is a medicinal preparation containing Nebivolol, as the active ingredient. It is indicated for the treatment of hypertension. According to your letter, it will be imported in tablet form in dosages of 2.5mg, 5mg, 10mg and 20mg. The applicable subheading for the Nebivolol HCL in tablet form will be 3004.90.9120, Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS), which provides for “Medicaments … consisting of mixed or unmixed products for therapeutic or prophylactic uses, put up in measured doses … or in forms or packings for retail sale: Other: Other: Other: Cardiovascular medicaments."
