The No Hub Couplings are manufactured with gaskets made from an elastomeric compound housed inside a stainless steel corrugated shield. The Shielded No Hub Couplings feature two (2” through 4” size), four (5” through 10” size) or six (12” size) stainless steel clamps tightened with 5/16” stainless steel hex head screws that surround the shield to provide the sealing force. The Heavy Duty Shielded No Hub Couplings feature four (2” through 4” size) and six (5” through 12” size) stainless steel clamps tightened with 3/8” stainless steel hex head screws that surround the shield to provide the sealing force. No Hub Couplings are used to provide a seal between no hub cast iron pipes and fittings.

Samples of the No Hub Couplings were submitted for our review. The merchandise is identified as MIFAB Series MI-HUB Shielded No Hub Couplings (model numbers MI-HUB-2, MI-HUB-3, MI-HUB-4, MI-HUB-5, MI-HUB-6, MI-HUB-8, MI-HUB-10 and MI-HUB-12) and MIFAB Series MI-XHUB Heavy Duty Shielded No Hub Couplings (model numbers MI-XHUB-2, MI-XHUB-3, MI-XHUB-4, MI-XHUB-5, MI-XHUB-6, MI-XHUB-8, MI-XHUB-10 and MI-XHUB-12).
