Dear Ms. Lin: In your letter dated March 12, 2008, received in this office on April 1, 2008, you requested a classification ruling. The samples which you submitted are being returned as requested. The submitted sample Style PT50566, Dino Costume is made of knit pile polyester fabric. The Dino Costume is a lined one-piece garment with stuffing. The garment has long sleeves with faux claws, a detachable hood resembling a dinosaur, partial opening at the back, an attached short cape and extends to just below the hip with elastic at the bottom. The costume will be imported in sizes 2T-4T. The costume is well made with styling, finished neck, sturdy seams and finished edges. The applicable subheading for Style PT50566, Dino Costume will be 6114.30.3070, Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS), which provides for "Other garments, knitted or crocheted: Of man-made fibers: Other, Other, Women’s or girls’."
