The item under consideration, Part Number X00225A, is a Bracket that will have one of its ends attached to the outside of a vehicle transmission and the other end attached to the vehicle’s front cradle. The Bracket serves as an anti-vibration device and provides engine roll-restriction and displacement control. The applicable classification subheading for the Bracket (Part Number X00225A) will be 8708.99.8180, Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS), which provides for “Parts … of … motor vehicles … : Other parts … : Other: Other: Other: Other: Other: Other”. The general rate of duty will be 2.5%. Duty rates are provided for your convenience and are subject to change.
